Our story

We started Prep Mama in our own kitchen.

It started the way most good things do — at a kitchen table, late on a Sunday, with too many tupperwares and a week to plan. We were knackered after work and tired of choosing between something quick and something good.

So we started cooking for ourselves on Friday nights — proper food, real ingredients, enough for the week. Friends asked for some. Then their friends did. Prep Mama is what happened next.

We’re still a small team, still in Kent, still cooking the kind of food we’d put in front of our own families. Just now we make a bit more of it — and we deliver it to yours.

    Kent veg, Kent dairy, Kent farms wherever possible. Our suppliers are five minutes away, not five thousand.

  • Honest portions

    Real grown-up servings. None of that 'enough-for-a-snack-but-billed-as-dinner' nonsense.

  • Quietly sustainable

    Reusable bags, recyclable trays, nothing flown. We do the boring planet bit so you don't have to.
